Privacy Policy

Glimra Stories ("we," "us") respects your privacy and that of the families who read our books. This pilot policy explains what little data this preview site currently handles, in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), as Glimra Stories is based in Sweden.

What this pilot site collects

The "Notify me" and contact forms on this site ask for an email address (and, on the contact form, a name and message). In this pilot, form submissions are not yet sent to a live server — no email service is connected. Before public launch, these forms will be wired to a real email service provider, and this policy will be updated to name that provider and describe retention.

Cookies

This site stores one small preference in your browser's local storage — your chosen language (English or Swedish) — so it persists between visits. This is not a tracking cookie and is not shared with any third party.

Children's privacy

Glimra Stories publishes books for young children, but this website is intended for use by parents, educators, and other adults on a child's behalf. We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from children through this site.

Your rights

Once live data collection begins, you will have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you, and to withdraw consent at any time, in line with the GDPR. Contact hello@glimrastories.com to exercise these rights.

Changes to this policy

As this pilot moves toward public launch — particularly once real checkout, email marketing, and analytics are added — this policy will be substantially revised and dated accordingly.
